I applied this product to my active acne and it really damaged my skin! I applied a small amount with a Q-Tip on the pimples and I noticed the spots turning white. I tried washing it off and the "whiteness" didn't go away. When I woke up the next morning my skin was very damaged, It was dark and appeared to be moderately burned. I'm not sure if I had an allergic reaction or maybe it was just because I have really sensitive skin. :( Use with caution.

got it as a sample and really like it! a little bit is all u need! it's tough on zits but yet so gentle on skin. it helps to heal faster and nicely too. i'm surely getting a bottle of this!

I have been using this product for about two months now. Instead of help clearing my acne-prone skin, it may have made it worse or it is not working at all. Although it claims to reduce inflammed acne lesions, it technically doesn't do for all types of acne, such as nodules and sometimes pustules. After about two weeks of application, I still see it there and it's still red.
Another con for this product is if you have an open wound from your acne pimple and you apply this product, it totally BURNS and not a mild tingling sensation.
The only good thing about this product is that it helps lightens your acne scar slowly over time.

Skin Action Gel Plus is meant to be used twice daily on acne scars or acne-prone areas only. With continual usage it claims to control and prevent further break-outs as well as help lighten acne scarring. It has a strong chemical-ly smell and stings a little upon application. I also found that when I used it twice daily my skin started to peel a tiny bit as well.
I didn't really see much of a difference at all, can you? But then again, it would be kind of silly to expect scars to disappear in only 2 weeks time. I can say, though, that while it did not help to make my new blemishes go away any sooner than they normally would, I did feel that once they healed they left less of a scar than they normally would (Note: I scar very easily.) Frequently Asked Questions
You should never apply Skin Action Gel Plus after extraction or squeezing of a pimple. Skin Action Gel Plus is an AHAs + BHA products, applying Skin Action Gel Plus on an after extraction pimples will further irritated the acne lesions.
It is highly not recommended to pick or squeeze a pimple, an inflamed acne lesion should never be further irritated. Squeezing pimples can cause the acne infection to be pushed further down the layers of our skin resulting in the spreading of infection; the worst scenario is leaving possible scarring.
It is recommended to use Skin Action Gel Plus only on acne spot area. If your acne happens to appear on whole face, mix Skin Action Gel Plus with Skin Action Sebum Gel (portion 1:1) before doing so will help your skin be prepared to an AHAs + BHA product. Alternately, you may also mix Skin Action Gel Plus with Intensive Hydrating Oasis Gel (portion 1:3) to reduce the stinging sensation of using an AHAs + BHA product.
