Diamond Serum Foundation gives me a flawless, bright coverage, it melts wonderfully into my skin. It looks a little thick at first glance, but upon warming it up between my fingers it turns into a light weight texture. What I also like it the collagen boosting and firming agents in it, so it gets a big thumbs up for me that it is anti ageing as well.

The finish is dewy, not shiny, but it gives you a glow. As I have an oily t-zone I did find myself applying some powder to my nose and chin after lunch. But the coverage lasted all day, something I didn't expect because it is moisturising. It isn't a heavy coverage, I would say it falls into a light-medium category.

Personally for me, it evens my skin out that little bit more and gives me a healthy glow. This is a great foundation to use during the day. Read more

I would called essentially call Diamond Serum Foundation a BB cream since it offers many skin benefits including firming, brightening, lightening, and soothing. It comes in only one shade and for my NC 35 ish color, it did not really match it. The cream comes out brown but once it's blended out, the color lightens quite a bit. The smell is similar to what I call a generic foundation smell (if that makes any sense) and is undetectable once you apply the serum foundation on your face. The cream also has quite a shimmer to it due to the nano diamonds incorporated in to the product. By itself, the serum foundation does feel pretty moisturizing and not too heavy but since the color was not quite right for me, I tried to wear it as a primer of sorts and apply another base on top but that combo was a bit heavy feeling. However, I could see that it did smooth out my skin and the shimmer showed through just enough give a more glowy look. Read more

The website directs you to use Diamond Serum Foundation as the last step in your skin care routine, before make-up, so I've been using it as a base before I use my foundation. The serum is quite a thick consistency - quite like make-up foundation - and is a light brown colour which I was quite surprised with when I first used it.

The product was very easy to rub in and felt really smooth on my face. As you can see it does look a lot like normal foundation as it's being rubbed in too, but once its all rubbed in it disappears - giving you a colourless matte base with a very subtle sheen.

Once applied it felt really lovely, not greasy or uncomfortable at all. I then apply my foundation and do my make-up as usual. I LOVE the way this serum makes my foundation look. It seems to make it look more even and flawless. And I also noticed that my foundation looked less patchy at the end of the day. Overall I really liked this product. I've tried a lot of bases and primers in the past but this has definitely been the best one. I would say it really does live up to the description and benefits Cellnique give it. It's not particularly cheap mind you at $45 (US) a bottle, but I would probably buy this and use it for special nights out rather than everyday like I am at the moment! To me, this smells a lot like cocoa butter which I like, but may be too much for scent-sensitive people. The texture is pretty thick, which I definitely do not like. But it could provide thicker coverage for those with more imperfections. Read more
