I have been with cellnique for almost 3 years now. this cleanser does not really cleaned up oil & debris. However it is good to be used as a routine refresh face session in between hours. Suitable for normal skin. definitely not for oily or combination skin.

I used it morning and night to remove all my make up including mascara!
The texture is a light gel which u add water to foam it into a nice soft lather which feels rich and soft when washing your face.

The scent is a mixture of mint and something else i can quite put my finger on but it isn't an offensive smell just different to what I'm used to :)
After using this cleanser for the month my skin has become softer to the touch and much brighter and more awake, it has evened out alot more the difference is much better than i was expecting!

The Cellnique Seaweed Cleansing Gel is so gentle, cooling to the touch, and soothing to the skin. I look forward to washing my face now. Of course you still need to remove your makeup with another cleanser, as this cleanser won't really do the trick, but the clean feeling afterward is refreshing.

The gel really satisfies the eye as well, with the tell tale green color and jelly algae look.

The cleanser has a very fresh scent and does a very good job at not drying out skin and still maintaining a cooling sensation. Read more

Seaweed Cleansing Gel's scent is very refreshing and awakening - Red Algae, Pennywort and Cucumber extracts but scent just mainly reminds me of tea tree. It is a gel form so you only need a bit otherwise it'll be quite hard to wash it off; it lathers up nicely if you use the right ratio of this and water.

It does a great job on removing excess make up my skin has felt slightly less sensitive after using this for a couple of weeks. It's summer now and I this is a must have for summer! Gets off all the yucky oils and is a great kick start in the morning. Read more

Seaweed Cleansing Gel - A natural based cleanser with the highest grade of Algae, Aloe Vera and Green Tea. Easy to rinse off, there's no foam, water soluble cleanser. My face felt refreshed and energized with the minty effect of the cleanser, which I check was due to the Peppermint ingredient. Though the texture is gel like and light green in color like the seaweed, the peppermint took the stage with its minty fresh performance. The product claims to be extremely gentle and free from Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Also that it removes debris (yes), leave skin supple and soft. However, I am a bit worried about the peppermint ingredient in this cleanser as highly sensitive skin would get irritated by it. Said to be suitable for Dry, Delicate Skin, I think combination skin to oily skin would also benefit from this refreshing seaweed cleanser as it left my skin feeling tight and dry afterwards. I love the smell and the cold feeling Seaweed Cleansing Gel left it on my face for a while longer. But continuous use of this can dry the skin. I alternate it with Vital Repair Cleansing Milk
